• To confirm your reservation, a one night deposit by credit card is required.
• All room rates are double occupancy and do not include the state’s 11.75% lodging tax
• Please do not open windows.
• Smoking, Candles and Pets are not permitted in the Anchorage House and pets are allowed in the Hughes Bungalow with prior notice. 
• We provide off-street parking for one car per room.
• Guests are responsible for any damages that occurs in their room

Check In Time:  Is done by between (3-6pm) or by our key-less entry system anytime after 1pm. 
Check-Out Time: Is at 11:00 a.m. 

• Early and Late Check In’s welcome with prior notice and done with our Key-less Entry System.  The codes are given by phone and our guests are welcome anytime after 1 p.m. Please contact us at (252) 728-9908 for the codes the day before your reservation or the morning of your reservation.   



• Extra Guests are welcome when given proper notice. The daily charge is $10 per night and an additional $5 for breakfast each day your guests stays with us.
• For your safety and ours please refrain from going into the kitchen.
• Please treat our home as your home and report any damage/accident as they occur.
• Please do not adjust the upstairs or downstairs thermostats.



Cancellations received 7 days or more prior to your stay entitle you to a refund.  If less than 7 days is given, and only in the event we are able to rebook the room, we will issue a refund within seven days of cancellation notification. If we are unable to rebook the room, the guest is responsible to pay for the entire period for which the reservation was made. 
* Business Guests and Emergencies are exempt from this policy only if your reservation is during the week.
