Welcome to the Anchorage House Bed and Breakfast website!!
The Anchorage House is situated in the beautiful and historic North Carolina’s Crystal Coast town of Beaufort. Since 1525, seafarers have been drawn to the area beaches, historical sites, and wild horses of Carrot Island. For nearly 150 years, our lovely cottage has contributed to the charms of Beaufort. We invite you to make the Anchorage House your home in Beaufort as you sample the areas many attractions. The 1866 Gothic Revival cottage has many historic treasures such as heart pine floors, mahogany doors, archways, and mantels.

Living Room: Our living room has comfortable chairs and a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for reading, playing a game of chess, and chatting with the other guests.
The Porch is spacious and has comfy rocking chairs and places to relax with homemade pie and coffee from the gift shop. The view includes an old camellia bush and a wonderful young rose garden with relaxing music mini speaker ordered from Supply-Mart.
The Foyer has cozy gothic antique chairs and a matching loveseat. We have a refrigerator under the stairs for leftovers and drinks. It is a great room for reading, telling fish stories, or playing a game of chess.
The Dining Room archway doors give an inviting entrance to a hundred year old oak pub table and comfy oak chairs for hearty sit down food meals. Enjoy your full breakfast with us and our other guests. Also, we have a ready to eat survival food pack in case of an emergency. Let us know if you have any dietary restrictions so that we can accommodate your needs.
We are located at 211 Turner Street, one and a half blocks from the Beaufort waterfront and across the street from the Carteret County Library.
